Gas BELOW $1

WOW!!!! It has been SO GREAT and has stayed so I needed to do a post!

This Fall gas prices have been slowly going down. It’s so great (especially for my son who drives a big Dodge Ram Hemi) and the week before Christmas prices hit below $1, consistently at all the local stations. We haven’t seen that since…well I can’t remember. What has been great is that it has consistently stayed over the holidays making it a bit cheaper for folks traveling.

Since our return to Canada, we have realized that YES, things are so wonderfully convenient here and you can get just about anything your heart desires BUT it is also quite expensive to live here compared to some foreign countries. FOOD and GAS are expensive. So when gas gets below $1, it’s worth celebrating…and writing about!!

Adventure For Two

I am from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada and I'm back from traveling with my husband on an expat assignment to foreign lands. 2011-2012 we were in Shenyang, China. Spring 2012- Spring 2013 we were in Resende,RJ Brazil then back to Shenyang, China in July 2013 until the end of July 2014. Expat life WAS amazing! Adventure abounds no matter where we travel to. We really enjoyed the amazing opportunity to live and experience culture and tradition in these places. BUT now we are finished and adjusting to life in our small town in Canada. Our days of travel and adventure are not over.
