70 is the NEW… 50?

Well that’s what David’s younger brother Stephen wrote on his Mom’s card in October at her Birthday supper before Mom & Dad went to Florida for the Winter.

TODAY Mom Goode is 70.

70th

Mom is an amazing lady. So many gifts and abilities. I am truly blessed to call her my Mother in Law. After all she raised the sweetest, most sensitive and caring man, made just for me!

( Dad, I used your picture from this summer because I really liked this one, and also one from Becky from Tim’s wedding) I think they both capture so well Mom’s fun-loving adventurous spirit!

Mom… David and I are not with you for this milestone but we wish you the MOST amazing and awesome day. Just remember in the words of your youngest son…70 is the new 50! What that means for David I don’t know? Unless 50 is the new 35! haha 😀

And…I also want to wish my parents a Happy 53rd Anniversary! Here is a picture of them on their wedding day!

Lots to celebrate today!!!

Adventure For Two

I am from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada and I'm back from traveling with my husband on an expat assignment to foreign lands. 2011-2012 we were in Shenyang, China. Spring 2012- Spring 2013 we were in Resende,RJ Brazil then back to Shenyang, China in July 2013 until the end of July 2014. Expat life WAS amazing! Adventure abounds no matter where we travel to. We really enjoyed the amazing opportunity to live and experience culture and tradition in these places. BUT now we are finished and adjusting to life in our small town in Canada. Our days of travel and adventure are not over.
