This weekend is Thanksgiving Weekend in Canada. We live in a county with so much to be thankful for!
Beautiful Mahone Bay was the place to be last weekend. Over a hundred interesting characters popped up in the town. Some have returned and some new faces have arrived just in time for Scarecrow weekend.
I love this particular festival in Mahone Bay and enjoy going every year. It’s kind of become an October ( around Thanksgiving time) tradition to browse the streets and shops of Mahone Bay and take pics of the scarecrows, have a bite to eat ( usually a sausage at the Irving parking lot lol), look at all the carved pumpkins and enjoy dessert at Joanne’s deli and take a stroll down the pumpkin patch in the evening. Such fun!!! BUT, last weekend during the Festival David & I both were NOT feeling well and it was a RAINY, WET WEEKEND!!
SO this weekend, Thanksgiving long weekend, we did a little work this morning, and then it started to rain AGAIN!!! But, we went for a drive anyway to see the beautiful leaves and…the scarecrows! The leaves in Nova Scotia are at their peak right now and are just WOW!
Hopefully the rain will clear tomorrow and the sun will come out! Enjoy your weekend, Tomorrow I’m cooking turkey for my fam 😀
