It’s Like Christmas…

…in September! I was so excited waiting, waiting, waiting all week…for TODAY!

A large truck pulled up this morning and unloaded 66 boxes…2 crates full. Our shipment from China was delivered and I am so excited! Just like Christmas! But unlike Christmas with just a few boxes, this is 66 boxes to unwrap ( and find a place for things)

So much fun and I was a busy girl all day but really loving every minute of it. 8 weeks to the day that we left China and my delivery came. I’ve had two months to get ready and to decide where I want to put everything so with a lot of boxes, I told the movers from Allied to unpack it and take it to the specific place so I could just put it away. All my hard work has paid off and even though 66 boxes is a lot, I am really enjoying it!

And while I am having fun organizing…David is working on the deck.

We got lots done today and more to do but there’s another day.( I only have about 9 or 10 boxes of stuff to put away)

Goodnight, tonight I will sleep well 😀

Adventure For Two

I am from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada and I'm back from traveling with my husband on an expat assignment to foreign lands. 2011-2012 we were in Shenyang, China. Spring 2012- Spring 2013 we were in Resende,RJ Brazil then back to Shenyang, China in July 2013 until the end of July 2014. Expat life WAS amazing! Adventure abounds no matter where we travel to. We really enjoyed the amazing opportunity to live and experience culture and tradition in these places. BUT now we are finished and adjusting to life in our small town in Canada. Our days of travel and adventure are not over.
