Rewarding and Heartfelt

Being a trainer/teacher in a foreign country is not without daily challenges. The language and culture the biggest. And in a factory setting maybe even more so. The last three years have been challenging and rewarding for David in his career. Yesterday this sweet young guy, David’s trainee for the year, made his day!

David’s thoughts…

Some of the rewards of working in both Brazil and China is working with really nice people! As a trainer, it is so gratifying to receive thanks from these men, but then so humbling when they want to give a gift to express their thanks and friendship. Without exception, tonight one of my young trainees gave me this thoughtful gift and note. Memorable moments… life long friends!

Such thoughtful expressions. As David’s Mother said, We could all take a lesson from this and show our thanks to others.

Adventure For Two

I am from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada and I'm back from traveling with my husband on an expat assignment to foreign lands. 2011-2012 we were in Shenyang, China. Spring 2012- Spring 2013 we were in Resende,RJ Brazil then back to Shenyang, China in July 2013 until the end of July 2014. Expat life WAS amazing! Adventure abounds no matter where we travel to. We really enjoyed the amazing opportunity to live and experience culture and tradition in these places. BUT now we are finished and adjusting to life in our small town in Canada. Our days of travel and adventure are not over.
