Where will I shop?

Brazil is in the Semi Final Game! This morning they won the game against Columbia that will put them in the Semi against Germany, but star kicker Neymar suffered a serious blow and has a fractured vertebrae and will be out for the rest of the World Cup. It is so exciting about Brazil though and David is sporting Brazil colours today!

As you know I LOVE to shop! ALWAYS have but living in China makes it so cool, just so much fun! There are so many options here and most are just a 30 minutes drive for me. They are all in the city but because there is so much traffic and Shenyang is a large city, it takes that long. We can go to Wuai, Taiyuan Jie, Zhong Jie, both Undergrounds, any numerous high end malls, the Exhibition Mall, street markets and the list goes on…

Today we went back to Sci Tech Outlet Malls. This is a favourite because the atmosphere is so lovely. You can just wander around and not buy a thing and have a lovely day BUT there is a Gap Outlet and a Columbia Outlet as well as Starbucks and Subway so we like to go to shop and eat!!

It was a really hot one in Shenyang. 37degrees. Some little ones thought the water fountains were a great way to cool off. I would have loved to join them but opted for an ice cream a little later in the afternoon on Middle Street!

Adventure For Two

I am from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada and I'm back from traveling with my husband on an expat assignment to foreign lands. 2011-2012 we were in Shenyang, China. Spring 2012- Spring 2013 we were in Resende,RJ Brazil then back to Shenyang, China in July 2013 until the end of July 2014. Expat life WAS amazing! Adventure abounds no matter where we travel to. We really enjoyed the amazing opportunity to live and experience culture and tradition in these places. BUT now we are finished and adjusting to life in our small town in Canada. Our days of travel and adventure are not over.
