It all began with toilets!

So I looked down from my window yesterday morning and they were setting up toilets in the central circle of our complex garden. We live in the main building so anything that is happening at Eastern Venice happens here!

So…toilets! Then more trucks hauled in and tents started going up and then…

A BOUNCY house!

David & I were going out to do errands but we figured we better take a closer look! Lots of products, rice, meat, eggs, veggies, wine and…toilets! EXPENSIVE toilets…the kind that heat and spray and do all kinds of interesting things. We wish we could take one home actually, they are so cool!!! BUT at 330CAD for a fancy toilet seat cover or 1000CAD for a toilet, I don’t think so!

All day the activities took place and at about 5pm the bouncy house deflated, the trucks moved in, the tents came down, the toilets went away and you’d NEVER know anything happened!

I just NEVER know what I’m gonna see when I look down from my kitchen window.

Adventure For Two

I am from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada and I'm back from traveling with my husband on an expat assignment to foreign lands. 2011-2012 we were in Shenyang, China. Spring 2012- Spring 2013 we were in Resende,RJ Brazil then back to Shenyang, China in July 2013 until the end of July 2014. Expat life WAS amazing! Adventure abounds no matter where we travel to. We really enjoyed the amazing opportunity to live and experience culture and tradition in these places. BUT now we are finished and adjusting to life in our small town in Canada. Our days of travel and adventure are not over.
