A 3 day weekend! Yay!!! I love when David is off and we can just be out and about!
This morning I started the day with an hour walk in the park. It was a cold -13 degrees and I wanted to test run some clothes for this weekend hiking and also for Harbin to see what and how many layers I would need. It was a bit polluted out there this morning because when I came through the door David said he could smell me, yes I stink! COAL 😦
Then at 10am, out the door we went to do some errands. One of those errands was to check out the NEW Metro store. This one is close to where we live and doesn’t take about an hour through city traffic to get there.
It was really nice. It seemed brighter, cleaner, more selection but then I suppose all new stores do…give it awhile. We picked up a few things, and even got some needed munchie stuff for our hike on Sunday.
When we got home David wanted to check out the skating oval. I was feeling a little under the weather so I watched from the window. BUT wait…he was coming back early!!! Just as he was there excited to skate, Chinese neighbours happy he was gonna skate…his skate BROKE!!!! Bu Hao. Now, I guess we’ll have to try and find skates in Shenyang that are NOT speed skates or figure skates.
And…that was today!
