LOBSTER!!!

There are so many wonderful things that I LOVE about living on the coast of Nova Scotia. One of them is lobster. This delicacy from the sea is a real treat!!! Winter and Christmas is the time off year that lobster is in season. So…naturally we had to have some while we are home!

It was so wonderful to enjoy this treat with our family!

This week we have been enjoying some relaxing time with our kids. We enjoyed coffee the other day at a very quaint coffee /gift shop in Lunenburg. This is a great shop for anyone needing a gift for that special someone, it’s my new favorite store. I spotted this book here and just had to have a copy!

And when in Lunenburg…a quick stop to get a pic of the famous landscape. It’s so beautiful with the snow.

PS~ Maybe you will notice, when I am home I just appreciate all these quaint and interesting places and things that makes Nova Scotia special. It’s so easy to take things for granted when you live here all the time BUT when you are away and come back home…oh how you appreciate it! James says I am a tourist in my home town, haha!

Happy Friday! 5 MORE days til CHRISTMAS 🙂

Adventure For Two

I am from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada and I'm back from traveling with my husband on an expat assignment to foreign lands. 2011-2012 we were in Shenyang, China. Spring 2012- Spring 2013 we were in Resende,RJ Brazil then back to Shenyang, China in July 2013 until the end of July 2014. Expat life WAS amazing! Adventure abounds no matter where we travel to. We really enjoyed the amazing opportunity to live and experience culture and tradition in these places. BUT now we are finished and adjusting to life in our small town in Canada. Our days of travel and adventure are not over.
