A day off + a rainy night + time in front of the computer…

= another trip booked!

It REALLY seemed like a weekend today! David was off and we slept in, relaxed, cleaned the house, had raisin bread french toast with maple syrup and good coffee for late afternoon lunch. Then we went for a drive to the market and it started to rain. Rainy weather + rush hour traffic means lots of traffic jams and it takes forever to get home.

After supper we relaxed in front of the computer and started talking about days off and trips and…I am so excited…we actually booked a little getaway vacation for December. A week before we go home for Christmas. I originally thought we might do a weekend Christmas Shopping Trip to Shanghai, I love Shanghai! BUT, we have been there two times and so we decided instead we would go to Seoul, South Korea!!! It’s on our list of places to see while we are here.

We booked a VERY nice hotel in the Gangnam District. So we will relax, do a little site seeing, do a little shopping…

Ahhhhhh can’t wait!

Adventure For Two

I am from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada and I'm back from traveling with my husband on an expat assignment to foreign lands. 2011-2012 we were in Shenyang, China. Spring 2012- Spring 2013 we were in Resende,RJ Brazil then back to Shenyang, China in July 2013 until the end of July 2014. Expat life WAS amazing! Adventure abounds no matter where we travel to. We really enjoyed the amazing opportunity to live and experience culture and tradition in these places. BUT now we are finished and adjusting to life in our small town in Canada. Our days of travel and adventure are not over.
