A Banner Year! GOODE Family Celebrations!

30-50-70…and a Wedding! That’s what David’s sister was thinking when she decided it would be really cool to get a Chinese banner made for the  Goode Family Reunion in October!

Everyone is traveling home and we will ALL be together for a few days, FIRST in a few years!

Richard (Tricia’s son) turns 30, Glenn (David’s older brother) turns 50, Dad Goode turned 70 in July, and Richard is also getting married!!! LOTS to celebrate this year ( including Jeremy’s Grade 12 Grad, James’ College Grad, Mom & Dad’s 50th Anniversary, Stephen & Stacey’s 20th Anniversary, Andrew & Kristina’s engagement, and Rachel & Gerald’s engagement to add a few more…) not to mention that October for sure is Birthday month with the bulk of our family Birthdays in that month.

TODAY we are celebrating ALL that is Goode!

Here are some pics from Goode Family day at Glenn and Holly’s home in Bedford. In random order…

What a GOODE day! So wonderful to have much of the family ( not all) together!! These are special times and ones we will cherish 🙂

Adventure For Two

I am from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada and I'm back from traveling with my husband on an expat assignment to foreign lands. 2011-2012 we were in Shenyang, China. Spring 2012- Spring 2013 we were in Resende,RJ Brazil then back to Shenyang, China in July 2013 until the end of July 2014. Expat life WAS amazing! Adventure abounds no matter where we travel to. We really enjoyed the amazing opportunity to live and experience culture and tradition in these places. BUT now we are finished and adjusting to life in our small town in Canada. Our days of travel and adventure are not over.
