Day 3~ Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Singapore

We had a few hours left this morning in Kuala Lumpur so David went to the towers early to see if he could get tickets. Robin, Peter, David & I decided to that since Tricia & Alan had an early morning flight to Singapore and ours wasn’t until mid afternoon ( the joys of booking airfare for 6 during a busy time in this part of the world) We got tickets for the first time slot at 9am and we were so glad we did. The view was amazing!

Then it was off to the airport to catch a flight with Jetstar to Singapore! Just an hour flight from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore we arrived late afternoon and took the subway to our trendy hotel in the Little India part of the city. Malaysia and Singapore are truly a fusion of nationalities and culture!

We enjoyed the evening with an authentic Indian meal served on a banana leaf and browsed the shops. Now it’s off to bed because tomorrow’s a full day!
PS. Tonight there’s a full moon in Singapore and we are at the Moon Hotel…

Adventure For Two

I am from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada and I'm back from traveling with my husband on an expat assignment to foreign lands. 2011-2012 we were in Shenyang, China. Spring 2012- Spring 2013 we were in Resende,RJ Brazil then back to Shenyang, China in July 2013 until the end of July 2014. Expat life WAS amazing! Adventure abounds no matter where we travel to. We really enjoyed the amazing opportunity to live and experience culture and tradition in these places. BUT now we are finished and adjusting to life in our small town in Canada. Our days of travel and adventure are not over.
