Getting Down to Business!

Business card exchange is very important here in Shenyang. With a city so large with so many people, to find anyone or anything you need a business card. Stores have them, restaurants have them, as well as little shops and even people carry business cards. You quickly learn to carry a business card holder with all the cards you collect of favorite places! Oops, I forgot all my favorite business cards from last time…they’re in my shipment!

After seeing a business card friends had made, David thought we should get one done for convenience. It’s just easy if people want to contact you or know where you live, you can just give them your card.

We told our driver Wang what we wanted. And he looked after it! The cards were finished on Saturday, he ordered them on Friday afternoon. We drove to a street somewhere in Teixi district in Shenyang and off he went… a guy met him on the street and …

15rmb for 200 cards! That’s $2.50 CAD. Yes that’s right only $2.50. Maybe not the most creative design or font used, David & I were a little bit disappointed with this part BUT it does have a color map on the back and now people can find us.

Our cards :)
Our cards 🙂

And that’s what I call service 🙂

Adventure For Two

I am from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada and I'm back from traveling with my husband on an expat assignment to foreign lands. 2011-2012 we were in Shenyang, China. Spring 2012- Spring 2013 we were in Resende,RJ Brazil then back to Shenyang, China in July 2013 until the end of July 2014. Expat life WAS amazing! Adventure abounds no matter where we travel to. We really enjoyed the amazing opportunity to live and experience culture and tradition in these places. BUT now we are finished and adjusting to life in our small town in Canada. Our days of travel and adventure are not over.
