My Baby is 21!

Ok, How is this EVEN possible? How do I have a child who is 21 years old?

It’s July 30th, 2013 and our youngest son James is celebrating 21 years today. Oh I wish we could be home and  make a wonderful Birthday dinner and cake for him and that we could hang out and have some fun.

Wishing you LOTS of hugs, kisses, love and Happy Birthday wishes from China!

And speaking of babies…I am having so much fun with my turtle babies! They really are great company and not a lot of work!  I wish we could have turtles in Canada! Today I had to change the water in their bowl so I put them on the counter in the kitchen. The one turtle ( the active one) made a bee line for the window and up it went!I think he wanted to see the view too! The active turtle is always swan diving on the rocks, posing and perching himself. He is always the one that looks up at me and doesn’t put his head in his shell when I talk to them. ( Still don’t know for sure if he is the male or female) They are just so cute!

Adventure For Two

I am from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada and I'm back from traveling with my husband on an expat assignment to foreign lands. 2011-2012 we were in Shenyang, China. Spring 2012- Spring 2013 we were in Resende,RJ Brazil then back to Shenyang, China in July 2013 until the end of July 2014. Expat life WAS amazing! Adventure abounds no matter where we travel to. We really enjoyed the amazing opportunity to live and experience culture and tradition in these places. BUT now we are finished and adjusting to life in our small town in Canada. Our days of travel and adventure are not over.
