Buying A Car

When we come HOME for vacay there are ALWAYS certain things that need attention and that keep us busy. One thing is cleaning the house. Two of our children live in our house while we are gone and since James was away in Japan all year, it has been only our daughter Laura. Life is busy for her and so some things NEED extra attention when we are home…like cleaning the house, especially her room and periodically shampooing carpets…things like that.

Andrew, our oldest son, has his own house and so he usually has an odd job or two that he needs help with or something on his truck he wants to do and likes his Father’s help. David and Andrew share a love for mechanics and working on vehicles so it’s more Fun than Work for them!

And sometimes Andrew has a nice car to use when his truck is in for a service appointment and he knows how much his Mom enjoys nice cars so…

This trip home, PRIORITY was to help James buy a car. James is finished school, ready to move on in the next phase of life and needs a dependable car, good on gas, dependable with not a lot of maintenance where David isn’t home to look after those things. My boys LOVE car shopping and were happy to help! David was so happy to be home to help James buy his very first car. After looking around at the options in Bridgewater and checking online to see what was available in Halifax, in his price range of course, James bought a brand new 2013 Ford Fiesta at Mosher Motors in Bridgewater! Congrats James & happy driving 🙂

Adventure For Two

I am from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada and I'm back from traveling with my husband on an expat assignment to foreign lands. 2011-2012 we were in Shenyang, China. Spring 2012- Spring 2013 we were in Resende,RJ Brazil then back to Shenyang, China in July 2013 until the end of July 2014. Expat life WAS amazing! Adventure abounds no matter where we travel to. We really enjoyed the amazing opportunity to live and experience culture and tradition in these places. BUT now we are finished and adjusting to life in our small town in Canada. Our days of travel and adventure are not over.
