that I wish I could magically put myself HOME in an instant!!!!
We got a text last night from our oldest son’s girlfriend that Andrew had been in a 4wheeler accident! She wasn’t sure of his injuries but that her parents were taking him to the hospital. It is so hard to be living in another country when these things happen. Life happens and it would not be any different if we were home but at least we would be there with and for our son instead of… W-A-I-T-I-N-G patiently…on a different continent!
Kristina is fabulous though because she kept us posted with updates as soon as she knew anything. As it turns out…he is badly banged up with a broken right wrist. They are splitting the cast in two and the doctor said he has never seen a break like it, he said it is broken into a few pieces and Andrew has to see an orthopedic surgeon next week and they will let us know whether its healing okay or if pins are needed. He is very sore and today the bruising is starting to show. I am sure the picture of him will look a little different today!
It could have been so much worse. We are very thankful!! Thank you so much to our family and friends that sent notes and emails. Your love and prayers for us and our family mean so very much!!!
Guess you’ll be a little while before you’re back on the raptor son? LOVE YOU!!! and we are so thankful you are ok.
