ALWAYS green in Brazil

There are so many beautiful things growing, blossoming and flourishing in Brazil, no matter what time of the year. You just don’t know what you might see next. I thought during the winter months ( summer in Canada) there wouldn’t be much color or anything growing, but it seems like there was always something blooming. And it was so wonderful to come back to this wonderful green and color after being home in Canada for Christmas when it was snowy and freezing cold. It is always changing, always something new and different in color. I love the surprises as we drive or walk the same roads and something new is in bloom. I miss my friend Pam for this reason too. Pam was ALWAYS capturing shots of the flowers, always knew what they were ( I never remember names) and it really got me taking more notice of things and snapping photos.

Here is a photo tour of some of the things I see, there is just so many…

I know I have more pics but this will give you a small glimpse. Have a great day friends!

Adventure For Two

I am from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada and I'm back from traveling with my husband on an expat assignment to foreign lands. 2011-2012 we were in Shenyang, China. Spring 2012- Spring 2013 we were in Resende,RJ Brazil then back to Shenyang, China in July 2013 until the end of July 2014. Expat life WAS amazing! Adventure abounds no matter where we travel to. We really enjoyed the amazing opportunity to live and experience culture and tradition in these places. BUT now we are finished and adjusting to life in our small town in Canada. Our days of travel and adventure are not over.

  1. I’m an avid gardener so these pictures are so interesting to me! Very cool to see the tropical plants growing in their native environment. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
