Whoa!…what happened to the temperatures?

Temperature this afternoon 😦

What happened? Today was freezing in Brazil! It feels like Fall rather than Spring.

Before we left for Canada, temperatures were ranging into the high 30’s most days and while we were in Canada, a friend mentioned it was 44 degrees one day. What happened?

Well I guess it was a good day to get all my cleaning done. Not that it takes me very long but I suppose it is more enjoyable in cooler temperatures. It gets so black with dust that I had to clean the whole apartment and balcony today. I was also thinking while I am in cleaning and organizing mode I would put some of my pants, jackets and warmer clothes away and get out all my Spring and Summer things. Hmm? Guess maybe I should wait a bit.

All clean and smelling fresh!
Looks like rain…

Hope you are enjoying your day 🙂

Adventure For Two

I am from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada and I'm back from traveling with my husband on an expat assignment to foreign lands. 2011-2012 we were in Shenyang, China. Spring 2012- Spring 2013 we were in Resende,RJ Brazil then back to Shenyang, China in July 2013 until the end of July 2014. Expat life WAS amazing! Adventure abounds no matter where we travel to. We really enjoyed the amazing opportunity to live and experience culture and tradition in these places. BUT now we are finished and adjusting to life in our small town in Canada. Our days of travel and adventure are not over.

    1. Haha Dave, that is life in Brazil…well in Resende! I just keep telling myself it’s only for a few more months, I spend LOTS of time outside, it’s easy to clean with all the dust and dirt here and that is why when we go to Rio or São Paulo for the weekend, we get a nice place!! 🙂
