Back to BRAZIL!

It is time to return to Brazil already! Wow 10 days sure goes quickly. I must say this trip home was so much more relaxing then the last one. We really got chance to rest and enjoy HOME…for the most part.

My Dad broke his leg and spent the whole time we were home in hospital so we didn’t really get quality visits with my parents. David’s parents were away in Ontario so we didn’t get chance to see them this visit, and in 10 days it is hard to see all the friends and family we hoped to see, and spend quality time with them. HOWEVER, we really enjoyed our days with our kids and appreciated so much the QUIET of Bridgewater. Brazil is a loud country!!! It was nice to enjoy the peace and quiet, cuddling with Abby, the convenience of shopping at very nice supermarkets and shops and finding EVERYTHING we were looking for, and eat wonderful food that we can not find in Brazil. It was also nice to do laundry…yes loads of laundry and have it completed within hours, rather days. Not to mention hot water and bubble baths…so many things we take for granted here and really miss living in Brazil. And…did I mention the QUIET… haha

BUT Brazil has AMAZING scenery, and some of the nicest people you would ever want to meet and it is nice and warm ( I was freezing the whole time we were home)

We leave Canada this evening and take the overnight flight back to Brazil. Like I said our time home has gone far too quickly but I am thankful that we can look forward to coming home for Christmas this year, and that is only 3 months away!!

TChau for now…See you from Brazil!

Adventure For Two

I am from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada and I'm back from traveling with my husband on an expat assignment to foreign lands. 2011-2012 we were in Shenyang, China. Spring 2012- Spring 2013 we were in Resende,RJ Brazil then back to Shenyang, China in July 2013 until the end of July 2014. Expat life WAS amazing! Adventure abounds no matter where we travel to. We really enjoyed the amazing opportunity to live and experience culture and tradition in these places. BUT now we are finished and adjusting to life in our small town in Canada. Our days of travel and adventure are not over.
