ONE More Sleep!!!!….Just 1

One more sleep!! That’s right just 1, and our youngest son will arrive in Brazil 11:00 tomorrow morning for 10 days vacation with us!! We are beyond excited, well I am, David is looking forward to it for sure, but I am the one who gets over the top about these kinds of things. haha…

James comes tomorrow!!!!

It is a full day for James getting ready to fly…He is finishing his last day at Bridgewater Open Bible Church, preaching the  morning message. He has been doing a summer internship there and has been involved in many aspects of ministry… communication, preaching, teaching, youth… and so it has kept him extremely busy and I know today will be a little sad for him because he has enjoyed his summer so much.

We are just thrilled that he has opportunity to visit us before he starts his 4th year of his Bachelor of Theology which will be done in Japan. That’s right our “World Traveler” will have the opportunity to do his 4th year of study with his best friend in Japan from September until the end of April. I just hope we can get back to China in enough time that allows us a visit to Japan while he is still there.

So today after David gets done having his coffee, and I finish this blog, we will clean the apartment, stock up on groceries and get ready for James’ arrival. I can’t believe how fast this time is going…We will enjoy James’ visit and then 2 weeks later, we fly home to Canada for vacation!

Favorite place for morning coffee

I just know that this month is gonna be a good month!!!! Excited!!!!!!!

Adventure For Two

I am from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada and I'm back from traveling with my husband on an expat assignment to foreign lands. 2011-2012 we were in Shenyang, China. Spring 2012- Spring 2013 we were in Resende,RJ Brazil then back to Shenyang, China in July 2013 until the end of July 2014. Expat life WAS amazing! Adventure abounds no matter where we travel to. We really enjoyed the amazing opportunity to live and experience culture and tradition in these places. BUT now we are finished and adjusting to life in our small town in Canada. Our days of travel and adventure are not over.
